We are a rapidly growing online tutoring business committed to providing exceptional educational experiences for students. Our team of talented tutors is the heart of what we do, and we’re seeking a dedicated HR Manager / Recruiter to help us continue to grow and manage this incredible team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Manager / Recruiter to oversee all aspects of our tutor team operations. This role is essential for maintaining a high-quality, well-supported team through effective hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage the full recruitment cycle for new tutors, including posting jobs, screening candidates, interviewing, and hiring.
-Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the team.
Work From Anywhere Opportunities:
-Supervise the training process, ensuring all tutors are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
-Oversee the Tutor Mentorship program, which leverages established tutors to provide 1:1 coaching to new hires throughout the onboarding process and extending into the tutor’s first months in their new role.
-Conduct regular performance evaluations and reviews to maintain and improve tutor effectiveness.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for tutor-related issues, concerns, or feedback.
-Develop and implement HR policies and processes to support team health and efficiency.
-Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and team development strategies.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in HR management, recruiting, or a related field, ideally within an educational or online business context.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Experience with HR systems and tools for hiring, onboarding, and performance tracking.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
-Familiarity with remote team management and online education is a plus.
