Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Serves in a consulting capacity for senior leadership performing complex data analysis and providing HR solutions including developing, modifying and delivering detailed reports from various systems and databases. Provides ongoing compensation services including job evaluations, market reviews and organizational guidance for structure in reporting hierarchies to internal customers. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Provides consulting services to departments providing solutions to moderately complex to sometimes complex and confidential in nature type issues. Participates in development of program assessment methodologies for compensation philosophy and may participate in supporting the strategic HR planning and delivery. Deploys supporting tactical measures that further the organization’s overall compensation approach. Participates in conducting compensation administration training sessions for managers. Leads in the planning, development and execution of human resources information systems data and reporting. Plans, develops and creates various metric measures for the department utilizing various systems. Documents and develops other members in the area within the operating HR systems. Develops and recommends solutions and automation for best practice. Cascades reports as needed to various members of HR. May participate in published compensation surveys. Works with business office leaders and department HR liaisons and various managers delivering compensation services including job evaluations, market reviews and organizational guidance for structure in reporting hierarchies. Completes analysis of internal jobs in relation to exempt status under FLSA. Reviews proposals for new and revised job descriptions to assure compliance with Federal and state laws. Approves all staff compensation transactions entered into HR’s system, ensuring consistency and adherence to policies, practices and guidelines. Ensures all proper approvals are received and payroll deadlines are met. Coordinates with central HR team, HR Liaisons and Payroll representatives as needed. Participates in providing services for year-end merit increase process, salary structures and department/system-wide reviews. Serves as an expert resource for continual quality improvement in the human resources discipline, including developing and implementing a variety of compensation and rewards programs. Participates in compensation incentive/bonus planning development and/or deployment or may lead in these activities as needed. Participates, as needed, in various ad hoc projects and other HR and administrative duties as assigned. Working Conditions: Job Location/Working Conditions Normal office environment.
