This part-time position offers remote work flexibility, requiring just 2-4 hours weekly to support our HR initiatives. You will play a key role in streamlining HR processes, managing employee data, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Responsibilities
• Assist with human capital management tasks, including maintaining employee records and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry.
• Support talent acquisition efforts by coordinating sourcing activities and assisting with applicant tracking system (ATS) updates.
• Facilitate employee orientation sessions and contribute to employee evaluation and performance management processes.
• Contribute to change management initiatives by supporting organizational design projects and workforce management strategies.
• Aid in employee relations activities, including conflict management support and communication with staff regarding HR policies.
• Assist with compliance-related tasks such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers’ compensation, and affirmative action planning.
• Log into the Human Resources email account to review and process all disciplinary requests
• Consult with leadership regarding appropriate next steps for disciplinary actions and terminations
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR standards and organizational policies
Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in human resources management, including familiarity with HR sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding processes. College degree preferred. Must have verifiable resources.
• HR certificate may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations. Strong understanding of liabilities and compliance standards relevant to HR operations.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, or similar systems like ADP or Paychex.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently within a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.
• Currently employed full‑time and seeking a small, steady part‑time opportunity
